Unleashing the Power of Prayer and Fasting in Colorado Springs

Prayer and intercession are powerful forces that can be used to bring about change, wage spiritual wars, and move mountains. The SAFA School, based in Colorado Springs, is a three-month program designed to equip young leaders with the skills of prayer and fasting, so they can lead a lifestyle of revival and mission. After years of experience at the IHOPKC, the founder of the program established a prayer room in Richmond, Virginia, and now leads prayer movements in Raleigh, North Carolina. Although fasting is not a requirement for salvation, it is an important part of the Christian faith journey and is highly encouraged.

The Deacon Ministry at the Colorado Springs campus works to provide Thanksgiving baskets for families and individuals in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. On Sunday mornings, the Colorado Christian Fellowship (CCF) on the Aurora campus holds a family prayer time for its leaders and members. The Aurora campus of the Colorado Ministry of Transportation Christian Fraternity offers transportation to its members so they can attend Sunday services. Additionally, the Aurora Campus CCF has an information panel with job postings, community services, health information, and more. The SAFA School in Colorado Springs is dedicated to helping young people discover the power of prayer and fasting.
